I fell in love with social media and video at a young age. In 2013, I started my own YouTube channel, creating vlogs, skits, and everything in between — learning early on how powerful storytelling through a lens could be and how much I love it.

 

In August of 2021, I joined my high school broadcast journalism program, where I worked as a Social Media Producer for two years in a fast-paced, news-style environment. That experience taught me the fundamentals of video, editing, and digital storytelling, and confirmed that creating content wasn’t just a hobby — it was my calling.

 

Originally, I planned to pursue a career in social media marketing, where I would work strictly with businesses to create engaging online content. With the support of my incredible parents, I took my college savings to invest in my dreams! I began shooting sports in high school, which quickly led me into teaching myself photography. That’s when I fell in love with capturing real moments: the emotion, the energy, and the memories people want to keep forever.

 

In November of 2024, Joc Lens was born. Today, I work with businesses to create authentic, scroll-stopping social media content, while also capturing weddings, seniors, couples, families, and portraits through photo and video. Whether it’s a brand or a milestone, my goal is always the same: to tell your story in a way that feels real, beautiful, timeless, and you.
